I’ve been learning a lot lately about how to exercise at home with limited equipment from the online internship at Show Up Fitness.
I’ll show you the equipment that I have, and then I’ll show you the sample program that Chris at Show Up Fitness came up with for me.
Video Time Stamps:
Exercise equipment – 0:27
Exercise program – 1:00
Exercise Equipment I Have
Three sets of dumbbells, 5 10, 15 pounds.
Two 15 pound kettlebells, a 10 and a five pound kettlebell.
A box of resistance bands that go up to 150 pounds of resistance.
Stability ball.
The space that we use to work out is the space between the end of the bed and the closet.
Exercise Beginner Program
This is the beginner program that Chris came up with for me. I’ll be doing this for about a month and then I’ll be moving into some more advanced exercises after that:
PROGRAM FOR BEGINNER CLIENT
1 Core – push-ups (focus on eccentric)
core – banded row
acc – planks
2 Core – goblet squats (with band around knees?)
core – military press
acc – biceps
3 Core – step-up / lunge
core – chest flies
acc – rotating t’s
Hopefully, in that time I’ll be able to get some heavier weights to add to the exercise equipment that I have.
Show Up Fitness Online Internship
As mentioned before, this program example of how to exercise at home with limited equipment came from the Show Up Fitness online internship.
If you go check out the online internship at https://www.showupfitness.com/ tell them Chuck sent ya!
Take care,
Chuck
