Air purifiers come in all different shapes and sizes. Living in the PNW, fire season has become just as normal as rainy season. This was our reason for buying air purifiers.

Our first air filter system was simply a 3M Filtrete tape to the back of a box fan.

This was because we started shopping to late and all the air purifying machines were sold out.

But over the years we have built up our collection of air purifying machines in anticipation of the fire seasons. 

And let’s be honest, they’re only getting worse.

Some of these past fire seasons have been really harsh. 

Not being able to go outside because the smoke is so thick means that smoke is coming into the house too. 

Now we have three air purifying machines in total, the Homedics air purifier and two of the Winix model.

These work great for the amount of space we have and have done a great job keeping the air clean inside our house. 

So if you live in an area with a regular fire season, get your air purifier now before you can’t find them anymore; 

Let’s not even think about the “supply chain issues.”
